Diversity. Equity.
We are Stronger Together
Other Important Principles
- Access — interested parties will have timely access to appropriate services. Waiting lists and other barriers to services access will be identified and removed.
- Strengths Based — individualized coaching plans will be strengths and goal oriented, with an outcomes focus.
- Individualized Services — each participant will receive individualized services in accordance with strengths and needs identified both by the mentor and mentee, and through valid professional assessments. Services will be delivered in accordance with mentorship plans.
- Participant-Centered — service planning will be designed to meet the unique skills, strengths, and needs of the participant, encouraging full participation.
- Culturally Competent and Respectful Practice — culturally competent services will be delivered in a manner that respects individual needs, cultural differences, and special circumstances. Culturally competent, diverse staff will ensure that all participants receive the support they need to benefit from the services provided, and that any differences in outcomes for anyone are identified and addressed.
- Integration — interagency planning, resource sharing and service delivery will be linked across Zhoetic. Through a shared philosophy, coordinated intake, service planning, case management and continuity of service provision, the system of care will appear seamless to the individuals served.
- Normalized — Participants in specific programs will receive services within the least restrictive environment that is appropriate for their services needs and consistent with their safety needs.
- Permanency Driven Options — Zhoetic and it’s programs will strive to ensure safe rehousing of participants in the temporary transitional housing program; however, if rehousing is not possible, an alternate plan will be developed in a timely manner. All participants will be immediately re-assessed and given a more appropriate plan of action including shelter placement.
